Ruth Irene McCoy Myers

Sharpsburg, Maryland- Ruth Irene McCoy Myers, 88 of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Friday August 10, 2018 at her home.

Born in Samples Manor, Maryland on October 27, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert Leroy and Lillie Irene Myers McCoy.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Gilbert Theodore Myers in 2009.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Chestnut Grove Bible Church in Keedysville, MD.

Ruth is survived by 2 daughters Lana Alise Willetts of Rohrersville, MD and Pamela Virginia Rutherford of Keedysville, MD, 2 sons Michael T. Myers of Falling Waters, WV and Robert Clark Myers of Quicksburg, Va, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Viola Hardey and 2 brothers Gerald McCoy and Roy McCoy.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday August 14, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795.  For the convenience of family and friends, the funeral home will open Tuesday at 9:00am.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 15, 2018 at 2:00pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steven Cook officiating.  Burial will follow at Samples Manor Cemetery in Samples Manor, MD.
