Stephen Leroy Rowland, Sr.

Williamsport, MD – Stephen Leroy Rowland, Sr., 65, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at his home.

He was born on October 5, 1953 in Hagerstown, MD to the late John Wilson Sr. and Pearl Elizabeth Stevens Rowland.

He was a 1971 graduate of Williamsport High School Williamsport, MD.

Stephen was employed by Xerxes Corp. of Williamsport for 13 years until his retirement.  Prior to Xerxes Stephen was employed by Garden State Tanning of Williamsport, MD for 23 years.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, also dancing, hunting, but fishing was his passion. 

Stephen we love and miss you already.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years Tina Marie Nave Rowland; daughter Tricia Hott and her husband Brad of Hagerstown, MD; son Stephen Rowland, Jr. and his wife Jenny of Williamsport, MD; brothers John Rowland, Jr., Theodore Rowland, and Jack Rowland all of Williamsport, MD; sister Rosie Baker of Williamsport, MD; sister Doris Elliott of Hagerstown, MD; sister Donna Martin of Greencastle, PA; sister Carol Parks of Conway, SC; sister Carolyn Binkley of Clear Spring, MD; sister Dollie Hose of Clear Spring, MD; grandsons Logan Rowland, Garrett Rowland, Seth Rowland, Brodee Hott, and Broc Pickett and his girlfriend Kylie Crampton.

He was predeceased by two brothers Patrick Rowland, Sr. and Arthur Rowland, Sr.; and a sister Nancy Lewis.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
