Steven Ryan Weaver

Boonsboro, MD – Steven Ryan Weaver, 33, of Boonsboro, MD passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at his home.

He was born on November 2, 1984 at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia to Ricky Lee and Christi Lynn Hamburg Weaver of Boonsboro, MD.

He was a 2002 graduate of Boonsboro High School Boonsboro, MD.  He was a member of the Boonsboro High School 2002 State Championship Baseball Team and was the Offensive Football Player of the Year for Washington County in 2002.  He made the second team for the Maryland All-State Football Team.  He was very active in High School sports and community activities.

He graduated in 2006 with his Bachelor’s of Science Degree from Baltimore International College School of Culinary Arts.

Steven was employed as a Chef at the Epic Buffet at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races Charlestown, WV.

He previously attended Trinity Reformed UCC of Boonsboro, MD.

He loved fishing, the Orioles, Redskins, and the Maryland Terps. He was the biggest fan of wrestling.

His true passion was cooking. Steven participated in culinary competitions and received numerous awards.

Steven was known for his humor and was the life and center of any room he ever entered and he truly loved his family and friends.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister Jessica L. Weaver of Fairplay, MD; nephew Parker C. Young; his unborn niece Stevie; girlfriend Victoria “Tori” Piazza; and many cousins, Aunts, and Uncles.

Steven was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Pete and Wimp Hamburg of Boonsboro, MD and paternal grandparents Mary and Stanley Weaver of Pleasantville, MD.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, January 22, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Don Stevenson officiating. 

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
