Wanda Lee Ratcliff

Hagerstown, MD- Wanda Lee Ratcliff, 61, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Hancock, MD passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 22, 1958 in Baltimore City, MD to the late Richard Hearold and Elizabeth Ann Cathcart Archer.

She was a high school graduate and received her Associate Degree at Hagerstown Community College.

Wanda was employed by Volvo/Mack Trucks of Hagerstown, MD and was previously employed by Rayloc Company of Hancock, MD.

She was of the Protestant Faith.

She was a member of the UAW Local #171 of Hagerstown, MD.

She loved her job and fellow co-workers.

Wanda loved playing Bingo.  She also enjoyed fishing and crabbing with her husband.  Her world revolved around spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She was always lending a helping hand to others. 

She was also a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Allen “Jay” Ratcliff whom she married on February 14,2009 and has been with for a total of 30 years; daughter Crystal L. Glee and her husband Kevin of McConnellsburg, PA; daughter Brittany N. Ratcliff of Boonsboro, MD; son Anthony J. Jakubowski and his wife Jocelyn of New Bern, NC; son Michael S. Jakubowski and his partner Kyle of Dallas, TX; grandchildren Justin Barnard, Chase Glee, Samantha Hensley, and Carrie Glee; sisters Harriet Helmick, Kathy Hebb, and Wilma Archer; brothers Richard Archer, Robert Archer, and Eddie Archer; several step sisters and step brothers; her special pets Bingo, Lady, and July; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, September 26, 2019 from 1:00-3:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Kim Nunberg officiating.  Interment will be in Spohrs Crossroads Cemetery Berkeley Springs, WV.
