Wayne Wadsworth Jenkins

Williamsport, MD – Wayne Wadsworth Jenkins, 82, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Julia Manor Health Care Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on July 8, 1935 in Grantsville, MD to the late Gorman Gideon and Grace Broadwater Jenkins.

He was a 1953 graduate of Beall High School.  He received his Master’s Degree from Strayer Business College.

He was employed by Kelly Springfield Tire Company of Cumberland, MD as an Accountant for 32 years until his retirement.

Wayne was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He was of the Protestant Faith.

He was a member of the Lions Club of Frostburg, MD.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Doret M. Newell Jenkins; son Warren W. Jenkins of Thurmont, MD; son Alan J. Jenkins of Williamsport, MD; son Darryl K. Jenkins and his wife Peggy of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren John Baker and Cassie Baker of Cresaptown, MD; great grandchildren John, Jake and Zoe; brother Paul Jenkins of Frostburg, MD.

Wayne was predeceased by his brother Otis Odell Jenkins and two sisters Mary Martha Cosgrove and Phyllis Miller.

Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
