Hagerstown, MD – Wilma Jean Hammond, 70, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Meritus Medical Center Hagerstown, MD.
She was born on February 16, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Raymond Franklin and Armatha Alverta Giffin Durboraw.
She was a graduate of North Hagerstown High School and also Award Beauty School.
Wilma was employed by CSS Industries of Hagerstown, MD.
She was a Christian.
She is survived by a son Scott Hammond and his girlfriend Debbie Keith of Shepherdstown, WV; son Jeremy Hammond and his girlfriend April Doran of Williamsport, MD; grandchildren Ashley, Cheyenne, Cody, and Corey; great grandchildren Tyliee and Mila; sister Wanita Fay Durboraw of Hagerstown, MD; cousin Maydean Durboraw of Hagerstown, MD.
A memorial service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at 6:00 pm with Pastor Ed Wade officiating. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.
