Angela Rose Gentile

Martinsburg, WV – Angela Rose Gentile, 94, of Martinsburg, WV and formerly of Hackettstown, NJ passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Sterling Care South Mountain in Boonsboro, MD.

She was born on March 1, 1927 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Natale and Maria Amari Augello.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent John Gentile in 2019.

She was a graduate of Bushwick High School in Brooklyn, NY and Packard Junior College in New York, NY.

Angela was employed as an Executive Secretary with Mutual of New York Insurance Company for over 20 years.

She was of the Catholic Faith and active with the Rosary Altar Society in her earlier years.

She is survived by her son Peter M. Gentile of Roseland, NJ; son David V. Gentile and his wife Ann of Martinsburg, WV; granddaughter Laura A. Wingerd of Martinsburg, WV; grandson Joseph V. Gentile of Dover, NH.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, May 6, 2021 from 7:00-9:00 pm.  Prayers will be offered at 7:30 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 109 W. Main St. Hedgesville, WV on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 10:30 am with Father William Kuchinsky celebrant.  Burial will be private.
