Catherine Geneva Everly

Hagerstown, MD – Catherine Geneva Everly, 91, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Magnolia’s of Chambersburg in Chambersburg, PA.

She was born on November 15, 1929 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Carl and Daisy McCauley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Albert Everly in 2001.

Catherine was a 1947 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.

She was a Homemaker.

Catherine was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son Brad Everly and his wife Alyssa of Chambersburg, PA; sister Shirley Paylor (Floyd) of St. Thomas, PA; sister Lois Sagi of Hagerstown, MD; brother Ernie McCauley (Barbara) of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren Allison Murphy of Severna Park, MD and Grant Everly; 2 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kim Nunberg officiating.  The family receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 12:00-1:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
