Warfordsburg, PA – Connie Jane Wilson, 73, of Warfordsburg, PA and formerly of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at her home.
She was born on March 18, 1946 in Worthington, WV to the late Ernest Tennant and Anna Catherine Renner Kunz.
She was a 1964 graduate of South Hagerstown High School Hagerstown, MD.
Most recently Connie was employed at Phoenix Mecano in Frederick, MD and previously at The Bavarian Inn in Shepherdstown, WV.
She was a member of Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church Bakersville, MD.
She enjoyed artwork, sewing, cooking, family card games and dominos.
Connie was a very caring and giving person and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter Lisa A. Wilson of Hancock, MD; companion of 20 years Russell Smith of Warfordsburg, PA; sister JoAnn Carson and her husband Paul of Fairplay, MD; twin sister Sharon S. Clevenger and her husband Earl of Downsville, MD; brother Ernest T. Kunz and his wife Betty Lou of Frederick, MD; brother Robert L. Kunz and his wife June of Kearneysville, WV; grandchildren Soleil Babington, Bobby Babington, Solena Babington, and Isaac Babington; great grandchildren Avarie Fink and Weston Philip Babington.
She loved her dogs Bearley, Sallie, and Baby Boy.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church 17626 Bakersville Rd. Boonsboro, MD on Thursday, February 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Richard G. Hembrock officiating. Interment will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
