David Allen Willingham

Williamsport, MD – David Allen Willingham, 84, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at his home.  He was a proud father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He was born on January 4, 1939, in Summit Point, WV to the late Lawrence Durard and Fannie May (Whittington) Willingham.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Judy (Zirk) Willingham in 2020.

David was a 1956 graduate of Charles Town High School in Charles Town, WV.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He was employed with Mack Trucks, Inc. Hagerstown, MD for 40 years until his retirement in 2001.  He was very proud of his 40 years of service at Mack Trucks, Inc. 

David loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He was an avid golfer and gardener.

He is survived by his daughter Tammy N. Wolford and her husband John; Tavis A. Willingham and his wife Tracy; brother Lawrence “Buck” Willingham; loving grandchildren Kaitlan, Ashley, Rachael, Autumn, and River; loving great grandchildren Ariel, Luke, Easton, Emmerson, Greyson, and Addison.

Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a brother Kenneth Willingham.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
