David Blaine Wolfensberger

Hagerstown, MD – David Blaine Wolfensberger, 61, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on October 31, 1959 in Hagerstown, MD to Clara Virginia Wolfensberger Joy of Hagerstown, MD.

He was a self-employed Carpet Installer subcontractor.

He was a member of Sons of the American Legion Potomac Post #202 Williamsport, MD; The Little Club of Hagerstown, MD; APA Pool League.

David loved spending time at Ed’s Third Base with all of his family and friends.  He was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, hunting, and fishing. 

Besides his mother he is survived by his stepfather Ramon T. Joy of Hagerstown, MD; son Devon Wolfensberger and his wife Jules of Hagerstown, MD; son Derrick Wolfensberger and his wife Katie of Williamsport, MD; grandchildren Donovan, Daelyn, Alyssa, Ashton, Lily, Daniel, and Aron; sister Joyce Carpenter of Hagerstown, MD; brother Eric Dryden of Creston, NC; aunt Kaye Myers of Maugansville, MD.

He was predeceased by a daughter Megan Wolfensberger.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at Williamsport Moose Lodge 119 N. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 2:00 pm.
