Davis Owen Palmer

Williamsport, MD – Davis Owen Palmer, 15, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.  He fought a hard battle with cancer but never lost faith with the Lord.

He was born on May 26, 2004 to George Harold Palmer, III of Williamsport, MD and the late Kendra Sue “Kim” (Davis) Palmer.

Davis was currently a student in the 10th grade at Williamsport High School.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved spending time with his dog “Izzy” and spending time with friends and family at the Potomac Fish & Game Club. 

Everyone always enjoyed Davis’s laugh “it was contagious”.

Besides his father he is survived by his sister Carlie F. Palmer of Williamsport, MD; maternal grandfather Roy E. Davis, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; paternal grandfather George H. Palmer, Jr. of Hagerstown, MD; paternal grandmother Georgia L. (Creager) Palmer of Hagerstown, MD; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and loving family friends.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother Frances Mae (Cole) Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, November 18, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at 11:00 am with Pastor Chris Schlotterbeck officiating.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
