Deborah Susan "Debbie" Crawford

Hagerstown, MD – Deborah Susan “Debbie” Crawford, 71, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Monday, May 25, 2020 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on October 28, 1948 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Paul L. and Isabel Stone Lowry.

She was a 1966 graduate of South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD. After graduation she attended Hagerstown Junior College in Hagerstown, MD.

Debbie was employed by the Redmen Tribe #84 in Williamsport, MD and was a Nanny to Marsha Knicley’s children for many years.

She was a member of St. James Brethren Church in St. James, MD.  She was a past Sunday School Teacher and sang in the choir.

She was also a member of Red Feather Council #59 Degree of Pocahontas of the IORM Tribe #84 in Williamsport, MD.

Debbie enjoyed bowling and her church children were very dear to her.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Lee Crawford whom she married on May 11, 1969; son Larry Paul Crawford of Hagerstown, MD; brother P. Dennis Lowry of Vero Beach, FL; twin brother Dean L. Lowry and his wife Martha of Williamsport, MD.

She was predeceased by an infant daughter Gloria Crawford and a sister Gloria Dawn Smith.

Family and friends may pay their respects to Debbie on Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD.
