Williamsport, MD – Debra Kay “Debbie” Beavers, 69, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her home.

She was born on January 9, 1955, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Cleveland Garland and Lillian Virginia (Toms) Holmes.

Debbie was previously employed as a Waitress for various restaurants.

She enjoyed hunting morel mushrooms, spending time with her children and grandchildren, and shopping mostly at thrift stores.  In her spare time, she worked on crafts and tended to her cats (especially Tobi).

Debbie is survived by her son Michael Farrar (Kimberly) of Williamsport, MD; son Damion Farrar of Williamsport, MD; brother Richard Holmes; grandchildren Brianna Farrar, Brenden Farrar, Tonya Farrar, Tuck Farrar, and Dylan Peterson; love of her life Leroy "Doodle" Beavers; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son Paul Farrar, Jr.; sisters Mary Jane Beachley, Lillian “Doll” Whitmore, and Barbara Darr; brothers Thomas Holmes, Cleveland Holmes, Jr., Gary Holmes, Sr., Denny Holmes, Bobby Holmes, and Allan Holmes.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 pm on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 11:00 am with Pastor Kimberly Nunberg-Wadel officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
