Clear Spring, MD – Donald Alexander Jack, 80, of Clear Spring, MD passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020 at his home.
He was born in Cumberland, MD on January 13, 1940 to the late Alexander M. and Carrie A. Grove Jack.
He was a 1958 graduate of Fort Hill High School in Cumberland, MD.
He attended Potomac State for 2 years.
Donald was employed as a Graphic Arts Designer with Potomac Edison until his retirement.
He was a veteran of the Army National Guard serving as a Medic.
He was a member of Lifehouse Church in Hagerstown, MD where he was a greeter.
Donald was a member of Sideling Hill Gun Club.
He was a Boy Scout Assistant Leader of Troop #136 of Halfway, MD; he served as an officer with Halfway Little League; he was a volunteer at the Humane Society of Washington County.
Donald enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, bike riding, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Sylvia R. Little Jack; son Donald A. Jack and his fiancee’ Lauren Abrams of Walkersville, MD; daughter Sharon L. Steele and her husband Joe of Centerville, OH; grandchildren Katy Barclay and her husband P.J. of Beaufort, NC; Alexis Jack and her fiance’ T.J. Shadoan of Greencastle, PA; Brandon Steele of Centerville, OH; Derrick Jack of Williamsport, MD; great granddaughter Sophia Shadoan; many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother John William Jack and a sister Doris Ann Nycum.

Family and friends may pay their respects to Donald on Wednesday, May 13, 2020 from 12:00 (noon) – 4:00 pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD.
Services and burial will be private at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
