Williamsport, MD – Donald Edgar Martin, 77, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.
He was born on April 24, 1943 in Williamsport, MD to the late Clinton Edgar and Virginia Catherine Ruby Martin.
He was a 1961 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.
Donald was employed by the Washington County Board of Education for 32 years until his retirement in 2005.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport, MD.
Donald enjoyed bicycle riding all over the country and also enjoyed walking.
He is survived by his very close friends Norman R. “Pete” Moats and his wife Cindy of Martinsburg, WV; sister Sharon Sterling of Williamsport, MD; brother Ronald Martin of Jasonville, IN; niece Teresa Martin Griffin; other great nieces and nephews.
At Donald’s request he will be cremated and there will be no visitation or services.
