Sharpsburg, MD – Donald Joseph “Don” Stevens, Jr., 70, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at his home.
He was born on April 20, 1952, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Donald Joseph Sr. and Katherine Genievie (Hose) Stevens.
Don was a 1970 graduate of South Hagerstown High School.
He was employed by UPS for 36 years until his retirement in 2013.
Don was a veteran of the Air National Guard.
He was a member of the Amvets Post #10 Hagerstown, MD; Potomac Post #202 American Legion Williamsport, MD; IORM Tribe #84 Williamsport, MD; Moose Lodge Williamsport, MD.
Don enjoyed bowling, woodworking, fishing, going to Baltimore Orioles games, watching war movies (his favorite movie was Midway), playing golf, cornhole, and shuffleboard.
He is survived by his wife Dinah K. Stevens whom he married on June 1, 1974; son Michael Lynn Stevens and his wife Julie of Spring Mills, WV; daughter Michelle Stevens of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Sharon Seal of Hagerstown, MD; grandson Trenton Stevens; step grandson Garett Gardner.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Thomas Stevens.
