Doris Louella Cearfoss

Hancock, MD – Doris Louella Cearfoss, 91, of Hancock, MD passed away on Monday, October 7, 2019 at her home.

She was born in Hagerstown, MD on October 3, 1928 to the late George Nelson and Agnus Beatrice Murray Ridgley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kenneth Cearfoss in 1993.

Doris was a 1947 graduate of Hagerstown High School Hagerstown, MD.

She was a Homemaker.

She was a member of Hancock United Methodist Church Hancock, MD and also a member of the Methodist Women.

She was a past member of Potomac Fish and Game Club Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter Robin K. Messenger of Wellington, FL; daughter Debra A. Rader and her husband Danny of Hancock, MD; brother Richard F. Ridgley and his wife Geraldine of Hagerstown, MD; grandson Shane K. Rader of Hancock, MD; great granddaughter Michaela Grace.

She was predeceased by a sister Agnus Jane Pryor; three brothers George William Ridgley, John Nelson Ridgley, and Robert Franklin Ridgley.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm (noon).  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Saturday for the convenience of family and friends.

Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Mt. Tabor Cemetery.
