Dorothy C. Dodson

Keedysville, MD – Dorothy C. (Griffith) Dodson, 87, of Keedysville, MD passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

She was born on January 12, 1934 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Frisby and Sara Catherine Lewis Griffith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. Dodson in 2016.

She was a Homemaker.

Dorothy is survived by her son Vernon Dodson of Falling Waters, WV; daughter Brenda Poffenberger and her husband Edward of Keedysville, MD; son Ronald Dodson and his wife Brenda of Keedysville, MD; son Ralph Dodson of Sharpsburg, MD; son Wayne Dodson of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren Jeff, Sarah, Charley, David, Eddie, Curtis, Christopher, Brooke, and Jeremy; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her brothers Kenneth, Leo, Samuel, Lloyd, Wilmer, and Gardner; sisters Rosie, Martha, and Mary.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Keedysville, MD on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gene Renner officiating.
