Douglas Allan "Doug" Reichard

Hagerstown, MD – Douglas Allan “Doug” Reichard, 69, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on January 19, 1954, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Charles Edwin and Jean Marie (Davis) Reichard.

Doug was a 1972 graduate of South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD.

He was the Owner/Operator of Reichard Industrial Products in Hagerstown, MD since 1983.

He was a member of Manor Church of the Brethren in Tilghmanton, MD.

Doug enjoyed dirt track racing with his two sons.  He owned and raced late model and sprint cars.  He was successful on the track and also a talented engine builder.

He is survived by his son Luke Douglas Reichard (Nicole) and their 4 children Maddy, Chas, McKenna, and Brady; former wife of 23 years Nancy Webster Reichard; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Jay Reichard and his brother Gary Reichard.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 6:00 -8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, March 6, 2023, at 11:00 am with Chaplain Duane Musgrove officiating.  Interment will be in Manor Cemetery in Tilghmanton, MD.
