Edward Charles Ardinger, Jr.

Boonsboro, MD – Edward Charles Ardinger, Jr., 71, of Boonsboro, MD passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on July 15, 1948 in Williamsport, MD to the late Edward Charles Sr. and Josephine Loretta Speaker Ardinger.

He was employed by Frederick Fence and Deck as a Foreman.

Edward was a member of Williamsport United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD.

He loved hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Faye A. “Sue” Ardinger; son Robert Ardinger and his wife Velvet of Downsville, MD; son Stewart Ardinger and his wife Jessica of Boonsboro, MD; son Luther Ardinger and his wife Diana of Springs Mills, WV; brother Elmer “Mickey” Ardinger of Greencastle, PA; sister Dolly Jones of Keedysville, MD; sister Carolyn Smith of Smithsburg, MD; sister Miriam Shatzer of Hagerstown, MD; loving grandchildren Bobby, Kati, George, Haley, Paige, Charles, Cole, Khloe, and Raven; loving great grandchildren Quincee, Avery, Haley, Finn, and Oaklee.

He was predeceased by a brother Richard Ardinger and a sister Barbara Liller.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Robert Shatzer officiating.
