Hagerstown, MD – Elva Ann Strubel, 79, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at her home.

She was born on June 26, 1941 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Clifton Hoe and Evelyn Gertrude Robertson Mackereth.

She attended North Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD.

She was a Homemaker.

Elva was a member of Mt. View Baptist Church in Hagerstown, MD.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years Ronald L. Strubel, Sr.; son Luke R. Barnhart of Cudjoe Key, FL; son Clifton L. Barnhart of Hagerstown, MD; stepson Ronald L. Strubel, Jr. of Chambersburg, PA; sister Carol S. Whitmore of Hagerstown, MD; brother Larry W. Mackereth, Sr. of Hagerstown, MD; sister-in-law Sharon A. Heiberger and her husband Richard of Hagerstown, MD; sister-in-law Sandy J. Brown of Hagerstown, MD; sister-in-law Linda K. Lent of Smithsburg, MD; 5 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Sean Brumbaugh officiating.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.
