Eva Jean Ryan

Hagerstown, MD – Eva Jean Ryan, 86, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on February 14, 1935 in Cumberland, MD to the late Basil Lee and Lillian Louise Helmick Grogg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Douglas Ryan, Sr. in 2001.

Eva was employed as a School Bus Driver for the Washington County Board of Education for over 30 years until her retirement.  She also worked as a food demonstrator at Sam’s Club after her retirement.

She was a member of Tribe of Judah in Hagerstown, MD.

She is survived by her daughter Eleanor L. Harmison and her husband Gary of Greencastle, PA; daughter Donna M. Myers of Greencastle, PA; grandsons David Rose and Gary Harmison, II; granddaughter Christine Kish; great grandchildren Noah, Jonah, Brianna, and Kaidyn; sister Sharon Klosterman of Littlestown, PA.

She was predeceased by a son Warren D. Ryan, Jr.; son-in-law Leon Myers; grandson Shaun Rose.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, July 2, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Kim Nunberg officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
