Grace Fiedler

Williamsport, MD – Grace Fiedler, 99, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Williamsport Retirement Village in Williamsport, MD.

She was born on August 24, 1922 in Dunellen, New Jersey to the late Edward H. Hollender and Grace Wraight Henry.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Fiedler on April 8, 1993.

She was a graduate of Scotch Plains Fanwood High School in Scotch Plains, New Jersey. 

She was a homemaker and employed with Dr. Byrkit for a few years in Williamsport, MD.  She also volunteered at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown, MD.

Grace was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport, MD.  She was very active in the church and served as a past greeter and helped count the tithes.

Grace enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and liked to travel with her friends.  She loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughter Linda S. Kreps and her husband Gary, Sr. of Mont Alto, PA; daughter Judith A. Fox and her husband Joseph of Goose Creek, SC; sister in law Pauline Dryburgh of Lanoka, NJ; grandson Gary Kreps, Jr. (Cari); grandson Michael Kreps (Rebecca); great granddaughters Nicole, Grace, and Madelyn; great great granddaughter Ariella; special K-9 companion “Annabelle”.

She was predeceased by two brothers Edward Hollender and John Hollender; half sister Joan Hendershot; half brother Robert Hollender.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Virgil F. Cain officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.  Interment will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
