Hagerstown, Maryland – Harold Eugene Miller, 91, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.
He was on December 15, 1930 in Pinesburg, MD to the late Edward Ross and Helen Irene Kretzer Miller.
Harold was a 1949 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was employed by Pangborn Corporation in Hagerstown, MD for 42 years until his retirement in 1993.
He was a member of St. James Brethren Church in St. James, MD.
Harold loved to drive, travel and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was previously a member of Dixon Troxel Post #211 American Legion in Funkstown, MD and Amvets Post #10 in Hagerstown, MD.
Harold was a member of UAW Local #842 in Hagerstown, MD.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Arlene (Jamison) Miller whom he married on September 14, 1957; daughter Diana L. Flook and her husband Kyle of Hagerstown, MD; daughter Karen M. Miller of Hagerstown, MD and her companion Brad Quigley; son Gregory E. Miller and his wife Cheryl of Clear Spring, MD; granddaughter Kyleigh L. Flook; sister Patricia I. Shadrach of Williamsport, MD; sister Barbara L. Nally of Williamsport, MD; sister E. Bernadine Diehl of Williamsport, MD.
He was predeceased by three sisters Doris I. Gordon, Linda J. Koontz, and Helen Marie Clipp; three brothers Edward R. Miller, Jr., Charles K. Miller, and Robert I. Miller.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, June 13, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Don White officiating. Burial will be private.
