India Ceaira Barnhart

Hagerstown, MD – India Ceaira (Garvin) Barnhart, 35, of Hagerstown, MD went to be with her lord and savior on Wednesday March 1, 2023, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on October 10, 1987, in Hagerstown, MD to Franklin Delano, Jr. and Bridget Garnett (Shillingburg) Garvin of Hagerstown, MD.

India is survived by her husband, Joseph Lloyd Barnhart, whom she married on January 24, 2015.

She was a 2006 graduate of North Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD.

She attended Virginia Avenue Church of God in Hagerstown, MD.

India enjoyed traveling, making jewelry, watching tv, and reading romance novels. She was an avid amateur historian and loved lighthouses, large bodies of water and all sorts of sightseeing at the beach. She not only loved her pets, but all animals. She enjoyed taking long drives with her husband Joe.

In addition to her parents and her husband she is survived by a sister Lacey Frye and her husband Shane of East Berlin, PA; grandmother Garnetta Shillingburg of Hagerstown, MD; grandmother Elizabeth Dayhoff of Hagerstown, MD; uncle James Douglas Shillingburg, II of Hagerstown, MD; aunt Trina Webster of Baltimore, MD; cousin James Tyler Shillingburg of Hagerstown, MD; mother-in-law Susan Ryland of Baltimore, MD; father-in-law Roy Barnhart of Falling Waters, WV; brother-in-law Brian Barnhart of Hagerstown, MD and many other uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by two grandfathers, James Shillingburg, Sr. and Franklin Delano Garvin, Sr.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday March 6, 2023, from 6:00 pm ­– 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday March 7, 2023, at 11:00 am with Rev. Shawn Bushman officiating. Interment will be held in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD.
