Joyce Marie Scally

Martinsburg, WV – Joyce Marie Scally, 80, of Martinsburg, WV passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Williamsport Nursing Home in Williamsport, MD.

She was born on January 15, 1941 in Pinesburg, MD to the late Clarence Hubert Teach and Helen Pearl Myers-High.

Joyce was employed by the Washington County Hospital for 30 years.

She was a member of Bedington United Methodist Church in Bedington, WV and was a member of the Circle of Friends in the Church.

Joyce loved to decorate for the holidays, going to the beach, bird watching, and was loved by everyone she ever met.

She is survived by her husband Thomas R. Scally of 29 years; daughter Diane Green of Williamsport, MD; son David Monninger of Hagerstown, MD; son Jeffrey White and his wife Kathy of Martinsburg, WV; sister Wanda Lefever of Falling Waters, WV; sister Ruby Monninger of Falling Waters, WV; half-brother Steve Teach of Hedgesville, WV; half-sister Carolyn Beckley of Williamsport, MD; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Bedington United Methodist Church on Friday, October 29, 2021 at 11:00 am with Pastor Scott Summers officiating.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown, MD.
