Falling Waters, WV – Julie Dawn Ulery, 60, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on July 4, 1960 in Romney, WV to the late Edward Jackson Jr. and Joyce Ellen Barker Smith.

Julie was a 1978 graduate of Heritage Academy in Hagerstown, MD.

She was employed by Aeropostle as a Manager until her retirement in 2020. She also held many management positions in retail before her retirement. She drove a bus for Heritage Academy and Cumberland Valley Christian School while her children attended school there.

She attended Hub City Vineyard in Halfway, MD. Julie enjoyed singing at church and ministering through music.

Julie had many friends and was known for her smile and personality. She lit up every room she entered and was the life of the party.

She loved spending time with her husband and spoiling her children and grandchildren who she treasured with all her heart.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years L. Reed Ulery; daughter Erica Bakner and her husband Casey of Greencastle, PA; daughter Amberly Blair and her husband Brent of Greencastle, PA; daughter Andrea Mullinix and her husband Robert of Greencastle, PA; her loving grandchildren Savannah, Briella, Owen, Wyatt, Madelyn, Samuel and Levi; sister Kimberly Sims of Young Harris, GA; sister Jodi Layne of Lynchburg, VA; brother Jonathan Smith of Boonsboro, MD; father of her children Paul N. Divelbiss, Jr.

A celebration of life will be held at Hub City Vineyard 17805 Oak Ridge Dr. Hagerstown, MD on Friday, April 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Chris Schlotterbeck officiating. The service will be able to be viewed online at live.hcv.church for those that are unable to attend.
