Karen L. "Flook" Reese

Hagerstown, MD – Karen L. (Flook) Reese, 61, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on June 3, 1961, in Brunswick, MD to the late Oscar and Elaine (Snoots) Flook.

She attended Brunswick High School in Brunswick, MD.

She was employed as a Manager with McDonald’s.

Karen enjoyed going out on the Casino boat with her family while she visited them in Florida.  She also loved being with her grandkids and attending family gatherings and cookouts.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Reese whom she married on October 7, 2013; daughter Laura Reed and her husband Stan of Greencastle, PA; daughter Leslie Gelwicks and her husband Tim of Upton, PA; brother Terry Staubs and his wife Cathy of Berryville, WV; sister Robin Bowers and her husband Sam of Rohrersville, MD; sister Mary Swope and her husband John of Clear Spring, MD; sister Doris Parrill and her husband Mike of Winchester, VA; sister Teresa Borgens and her husband Chris of Deltona, FL; brother James White, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Martinsburg, WV; brother Stanley White and his wife Kina of Rippon, WV; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a sister Vickie Ray and a niece Heather Proctor.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 1:00 pm with Pastor James Muller officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.
