Kenneth Robert Hose

Williamsport, MD – Kenneth Robert Hose, 80, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Doey’s House in Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on February 15, 1940 in Pinesburg, MD to the late Alfred Benchoff and Ethel Irene Myers Hose.

He attended Williamsport Schools.

Kenneth was employed by Washington County Public Schools for 28 years until his retirement in 2007.  He owned and operated Community TV Service in Hagerstown, MD.

He served in the U.S. Army as a Helicopter Mechanic stationed in Hawaii.

Kenneth was a member of Gateway Church in Williamsport, MD where he served as an Usher.

He enjoyed collecting antique radios, gardening, camping, going to Southern Gospel Concerts, singing, playing the guitar, going to auctions.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Barbara J. Hose; daughter Lisa Yost and her husband Frank of Chambersburg, PA; daughter Kendra Hose of Chambersburg, PA; son Tim Hose and his wife Michelle of Falling Waters, WV; son Kevin Hose and his wife Aimee of Martinsburg, WV; his loving grandchildren Christopher Yost, Jordan Yost, Bethany Yost, Alyssa Hose, and Trinity Hose; sisters Betty Ryan and Nancy Long; brother Alfred Hose.

He was predeceased by a sister Jane Weaver.

The family will receive friends at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, August 17, 2020 from 6:00-9:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD on Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at 10:00 am with Pastor Rodney Rhodes officiating.  Military honors will be provided by Joint Veteran Council of Washington County and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown, MD.
