Hagerstown, MD – Larry Allen Tyler, Jr. 54, of Hagerstown, MD and formerly of Wheaton, MD passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.
Larry was a loving husband, son, father, and grandfather.
He was born on May 16, 1966 in Bethesda, Maryland to Larry Allen Sr. and Patsy Anne Mabry Tyler of Summerton, SC.
He was a 1984 graduate of Kennedy High School in Wheaton, MD.
Larry was presently employed as a Truck Driver for Estes Express Lines in Hagerstown, Maryland.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Larry was a Christian and enjoyed listening to Joel Osteen on Sunday mornings while driving his truck.
He loved Nascar racing and was an old car enthusiast. He enjoyed attending the cruise ins on Saturday nights at the Valley Mall. He loved watching his grandkids play sports and loved music, especially old country music.
He is survived by his wife Kathy (Bartholow) Passero whom he married April 11, 2017 they had been together for 25 years; daughter Jessica Tyler of Gaithersburg, MD; daughter Shannon McLaughlin and her husband Ryan of Hagerstown, MD; daughter Jami Passero of Hagerstown, MD; brother Marty Tyler of Greencastle, PA; brother Nick Tyler of Frederick, MD; grandchildren Ryan Jr., Tyler, Savannah, and Cheyenne.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Wednesday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 11:00 am with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery Hagerstown, MD. Military honors will be provided by Joint Veteran Council of Washington County and Marine Corps League of Hagerstown, MD.
