Leta Margaret Wiles

Hagerstown, MD – Leta Margaret Wiles, 80 of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 20, 1941 in Moira, New York to the late Verick J. and Margaret Myrtle (Clark) Westurn.

She attended Moira High School in Moira, NY

Leta was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Robert Earl “Bob” Wiles on August 5, 2021.

She was retired as the Vice President of L&L Coach Lines.

She was a member of Virginia Avenue Church of God in Halfway, MD.

Leta loved her family, cooking, and baking.

She is survived by four children, son Robert C. Wiles and his wife Vickie of Fairplay, MD; son Verick J. Wiles of Staunton, VA; son Timothy W. Wiles and his wife Vickie of Hagerstown, MD; son Evan L. Wiles and his wife Twyla of Williamsport, MD; sister Harriet Ann St. Mary of Malone, NY; brother David Verick Westurn of Brushton, NY; nine grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother John Westurn and sister Linda Emma Johnston.

The family will receive friends at The Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday April 12, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 12 (noon) on Tuesday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Virginia Avenue Church of God 17306 Virginia Ave. Hagerstown, MD on Wednesday April 13, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Shawn Bushman and Rev. A. Paul Harne officiating. Interment will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
