Lillian Elizabeth Barthlow

Mercersburg, Pennsylvania- Lillian Elizabeth Barthlow, 82 of Mercersburg, PA passed away on Saturday December 28, 2019 at her home.

Born in Hagerstown, MD on December 14, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Alter and Myrtle Mae Harper Butts.

She attended Hagerstown High School and was a homemaker, a cook at the Clearview Nursing Home and a caregiver to many.

She was a member of Greencastle Church of God.

Lillian is survived by her husband of 65 years Leroy Junior Barthlow, 3 daughters Loretta Mae Barthlow of Smithsburg, MD, Marilyn June Kunz and husband Robert of Kearneysville, WV and Elizabeth Ann Green and husband Kevin of Hedgesville, WV, a son Dane Alan Barthlow and wife Tami of Mercersburg, PA, a sister Doris Michael of Berryville, VA, 3 brothers Richard Butts of Myrtle Beach, SC, Ronald Butts of Hagerstown, MD and Mike Butts of Greencastle, PA, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Edward Wayne Barthlow, 2 sisters Dorothy Harvey and Betty McClain and 3 brothers Raymond Butts, Ralph Butts and James Butts.

The family will receive friends on Friday January 3, 2020 from 6:00-8:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795.  For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open on Friday at 9:00am.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday January 4, 2020 at 12 noon at Airborne Church 172 Creative Place Martinsburg, WV 25401 with Pastors Kevin and Beth Green officiating.  Burial will be private.
