Linda Lee Fox

Linda Lee Fox was born September 22, 1942, in Hagerstown, MD the daughter of the late Clyde Ambrose and Iva Virginia Bowers Fox.  She passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023, at Fahrney-Keedy Nursing Home Boonsboro, MD.

Linda was a 1960 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 1963 graduate of Hagerstown Junior College.

Linda worked in the accounting department of the Washington County Hospital and as a bookkeeper with Naron & Wagner; Eakle’s Pharmacy and Manpower.

She was elected as an Orphan’s Court Judge for Washington County, serving 1994-2002.

Linda was a life-long member of Downsville Christian Church, a member of the choir, the Christian Women’s Fellowship and formerly served as the church Treasurer.

Linda was a former member of the BPW and Lioness Club of Hagerstown, MD.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by brothers, C. Glenn Fox and Donald A. Fox.

She is survived by a niece Dixie L. Garvin, nephew Rusty Fox,a great-niece and great nephew; cousin Jason Malott, wife Melinda and children Sara and Luke.

A memorial service will be held at The Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 2pm with Rev. Delancy Catlett officiating.

Burial will be private.
