Linda Marie Shirley

Maugansville, MD- Linda Marie Shirley, 74, of Maugansville, MD passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2020 under the care of her sister-in law Robin.

She was born on October 15, 1945 in Hagerstown, MD to the late David Milford “Toots” and Sarah Albertha Scott McElroy.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Richard “Dick” Shirley on January 10, 2013.

Linda was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport High School Williamsport, MD.

She was employed by Potomac Edison Hagerstown, MD until her retirement.

Linda previously attended Williamsport United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD.

She is survived by her Aunt Mary L. Moats of Mt. Airy, MD; cousin Patricia Frey and her husband Gary of Mt. Airy, MD; and several sister and brother in laws.

Funeral services will be held at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, March 20, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Friday from 1:00-2:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.  Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD.

Due to the COVID 19 issues we will only be allowed to admit 50 attendees at any given time in for the visitation and funeral.
