Sharpsburg, MD – Margaret Ann DeLauney, 80, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at her home.
She was born on October 16, 1939 in Shepherdstown, WV to the late Harvey Shirley and Annie Domer Giffin.
She was a Homemaker.
Margaret is survived by her husband of 61 years Rudy L. DeLauney, Sr.; son David DeLauney; son Rudy DeLauney and his wife Barb; daughter Penny Marshall; daughter Kelly Dunham and her husband Joe; loving grandchildren Brian, Chasity, Cody, Justin, Tiffany, Bethany, Kaela, Kortnie, Shad, and Ethan; great grandchildren Emerson, Bailey, Landen, Kinley, Karson, Kayden, Emery, Kashtyn, Jensen, and Everett; sister Frances Clipp; brother Harvey Shirley; step sister Wilma Kretzer; close family friends Jessie and Jan Cline; many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by sisters Evelyn, Irene, and Mary; brothers Harry and Henry Lee.
Graveside services will be held at Mt. View Cemetery Sharpsburg, MD on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Terry Marshall officiating.
