Marion A. "Tish" Miller

Williamsport, Maryland-Marion A. “Tish” Miller, 95 of Williamsport, MD passed away to be with the Lord on Monday January 18, 2021.

Mrs. Miller was born in Hagerstown, MD on September 14, 1925.  She graduated from St. Mary’s High School and Georgetown University School of Nursing.

She and her husband Raymond H. Miller, Jr. were married on August 30, 1947 at St. Mary’s Church in Hagerstown, MD. They had six children.

Mrs. Miller served on the St. Maria Goretti High School Board, Clear Spring Historical Society, Washington County Historical Society, Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, Washington County Rural Heritage Museum, The Election Board, Washington County Parks and Recreation and Washington County Health Department Hospice.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Tish is preceded in death by her parents Dr. Wayne Lincoln and Marion Bender McGinley, husband Raymond H. Miller, Jr. and her son Thomas Miller.

She is survived by five children Raymond H. Miller, III and his wife Elizabeth A. of Hagerstown, MD, Robert Miller and his wife Pamela of Williamsport, MD, Marianne Malloy and her husband John of Aiken, SC, Susan Miller of Aiken, SC and James Miller of Long Beach, CA.  She is survived by grandchildren Emily Strunk and her husband Josh, Robert Miller, Jr. and his wife Melissa, Caroline Miller, Timothy Miller, Cameron Miller and his wife Erin, Katherine Miller Tulp and her husband Nicholas, Nicholas Reimers, Jacob Reimers and Craig Miller and eleven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795 on Monday January 25, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm.  Prayers will begin at 5:45pm with Deacon Paul Nicholas.  For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open Monday at 9:00am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church on Virginia Avenue in Halfway, MD on Tuesday January 26, 2021 at 11:00am with Rev. Father Angel Marrero Celebrant.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
