Mark Allen Edleblute

Hagerstown, MD – Mark Allen Edleblute, 52, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on March 22, 1968 in Hagerstown, MD to Norman H. “Sonny” Edleblute of Sharpsburg, MD and the late Nellie Ruth Chaney Edleblute.

He was a 1986 graduate of Boonsboro High School in Boonsboro, MD.

Mark has been employed with Republic Services in Hagerstown, MD since 1986.

Mark and his wife Rebel enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson Motorcycle on many trips and attending motorcycle rallies.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the Potomac River.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren they were “Pappy’s Biker Crew”. He also enjoyed being with his dogs Raven and Gunner.

He is survived by his wife Rebel Lyn Grimsley Edleblute whom he married on March 4, 1995; daughter Jessica L. Bohner and her husband Jeremy of Greencastle, PA; daughter Rebecca L. Edleblute and her fiance’ John Eyler of Thurmont, MD; sister Sandy A. Clipp and her husband Keith of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Diana K. Abrecht and her husband Charles of Sharpsburg, MD; brother Kenny L. Edleblute and his wife Betty of Hagerstown, MD; brother Brian L. Edleblute and his wife Tracy of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Sutton, Tegan, Kellan and Rohan; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, August 21, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends. Masks are required to enter the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 am at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD with Brother Brad Graybill officiating.

Mark’s motorcycle friends who would like to ride to the graveside together please meet at the Old County Market parking lot on Saturday at 10:00 am. We will than ride together to Rest Haven Cemetery.
