Williamsport, MD – Mary E. “Sis” Shumaker, 70, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, MD.

She was born on March 29, 1952, in Hagerstown, MD to the late Lloyd Jacob and Thelma Jeannette Baker Miley.

She was a Homemaker.

She was a Christian.

Sis had a heart of gold and cared for everyone.

She loved to go to yard sales, collecting elephants, cookie jars, and western memorabilia. She loved country music.

Sis loved her family, kids, grandkids, great grandkids, and her animals Lil Bit, Sissy, and many other animals.

She is survived by her husband Donald Glen Shumaker, Sr. whom she married on May 18, 1970; daughter Melissa Pettner (Stephen); daughter Mary Fishel (Ronnie); son Denny Shumaker, II (Laura); sister Jeanette Miley; sister Sandra K. Miley; brother Lloyd J. “Sam” Miley; brother Popeye Miley; grandchildren Justin, Bryan, Kelsey (Chris), Dustin (Amanda), Cody (Nikki), Ryan (Katie), Ronnie, Jr.(Tiffany), Amber (Michael), Matt, Collen, and Caven; great grandchildren Bentley, Spencer, Gracelynn, Steven, Brayden, Emma, Kaleb, Madison, Riverlynn, Braylinne, Ryan, Jr., Legen, Lelan, Taylor, Kenley, Brenlynn, Aubrey, and Kennedy; grand dogs Rhett and Ruger.

She was predeceased by a brother Buck Miley.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, December 1, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, December 2, 2022, at 11:00 am with Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD.
