Melissa Ann Cline

Sharpsburg, MD – Melissa Ann Cline, 48, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, VA from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born on September 7, 1971 in Hagerstown, MD to Deborah Carlene Giffin Cline of Sharpsburg, MD and the late Jay Allen Cline Sr.

She was of the Christian Faith.

She is survived by her mother Deborah Cline and her boyfriend Mike Norris of Sharpsburg, MD; son Michael Johnson of West Virginia; son Jared Cline and his fiance’ Morgan Bussard of Martinsburg, WV; granddaughter Khayliana Johnson of Hagerstown, MD; paternal grandmother Virginia Cline Gay of Shepherdstown, WV; brother Carl Cline and his wife Stacey of Sharpsburg, MD; sister Marie Cline; 3 nephews; 1 niece; aunt Bernice Cline Johnson of Shepherdstown, WV; aunt Beverly Longerbeam of SC; aunt Sandra Kelley and her husband George of Keedysville, MD; uncle Bruce Cline of Shepherdstown, WV; uncle Chummy Dodson of Sharpsburg, MD; uncle Jackie Grove of Harpers Ferry, WV; many cousins.

Besides her father she was predeceased by a brother Jay Allan Cline, Jr. and granddaughter Harleigh Cline.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from                          6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Thursday for the convenience of family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in Middletown, MD on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Darrin Longerbeam officiating.
