Michael Anthony "Mike" Fasulo

Sharpsburg, MD – Michael Anthony “Mike” Fasulo, 75, of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Inova Fairfax Hospital Falls Church, VA.

He was born on September 29, 1944 in Washington, D.C. to the late John Anthony and Eunice Grace Garrett Fasulo.

Mike was a graduate of Albert Einstein High School in Kensington, MD.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War.

He was of the Catholic Faith.

Mike was a member of the East Coast Comet Club, an active member of the “Come All Who Are Thirsty Community Veterans Group”, and previously belonged to various Car Clubs.

Throughout his life he was actively involved in many Motorsports.

Mike’s passion and profession was Auto Mechanics, helping others, spending time at the beach, and spending time with his entire family.  Mike was a true Patriot.

He is survived by his wife Katherine Godwin Fasulo whom he married April 3, 1971; daughter Amy M. Fasulo-Morey and her husband Randy of Sharpsburg, MD; daughter Karen M. Poffenberger and her husband Brian of Sharpsburg, MD; daughter Linda T. Fasulo-Whitmore and her husband Josh of Rohrersville, MD; daughter Laura C. Thomas and her husband Mark of Boonsboro, MD; sister Janet Fasulo Smith of Leesburg, FL; grandchildren Anastasia Martinez, Cayla Morey, Savanna Morey, Cole Palmer, Riley Palmer, Kendall Poffenberger, Bella Poffenberger, and Michael Thomas; great grandchildren Jaykob, Kennedy, Alaska, and Laddie; many nieces and nephews; longtime friend and former son in law Jake Palmer.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, July 20, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 12:00 (noon) on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.

A memorial mass and interment will be announced at a later date.
