Nan Mackey Wachter

Nan Mackey Wachter, 88, passed on September 16, 2020, at the Homewood Nursing Home, Williamsport, Md. She was born to P G and Sydnie Mackey in York, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1932.

She married William C Wachter and they lived in Hagerstown, Maryland. Nan had 4 children, Son, Bert Nichols, Daughters, Debbie Reynolds, Maggi Muhal, Beth Scholl, 2 stepsons, David Wachter and Dennis Wachter. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren

Nan graduated from York High School and received a degree from the Hood College.

Nan volunteered at Washington County Museum of Fine Arts. She also contributed to and worked with the Washington County Maryland Republican Central Committee.

Nan and Bill loved socializing and golfing with her friends and family, they were longtime members of the Fountain Head Country Club

Arrangements are being made by Osborne Funeral Home, Williamsport, Md

A Service of Remembrance will be private and held in the future.

In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made in Nan's memory to the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts.
