Nora Mae Litten

Fairplay, MD – Nora Mae Litten, 73, of Fairplay, MD passed away on Monday, June 15, 2020 at Fahrney Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD.

She was born on May 23, 1947 in St. James, MD to the late William Edward and Blanche Sadie Gaylor Litten.

She was a 1965 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.

Nora was employed by Fahrney Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD for 37 years until her retirement in 2007.

She was a member of Downsville Church of the Brethren in Downsville, MD. Nora played the piano, organ, and taught adult Sunday School.

She was also a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union and the Downsville Homemaker’s Club.

She is survived by her brother Harold W. Litten and his wife Mary; brother Wayne E. Litten and his wife Carol; 3 nephews Richard, Todd, and Brad Litten; 2 nieces Sandy Wilhide and Beverly Litten; 2 great nieces Aubrey and Brooke.

She was predeceased by an infant sister Hope Litten.

Family and friends may pay their respects to Nora on Thursday, June 18, 2020 from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD.

Graveside services will be held at Manor Cemetery Tilghmanton, MD on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 am with Rev. Wilke Nunn officiating.
