Peggy Ann Mussolino

Falling Waters, WV – Peggy Ann Mussolino, 75, of Falling Waters, WV passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at her home.

She was born on November 23, 1946 in Hagerstown, Maryland to the late Francis Edwin and Helen Louise Whittington Long.

She was a 1964 graduate of Williamsport High School in Williamsport, MD.

Peggy was employed at Jeanne’s Confectionary in Williamsport, MD for many years and was a Homemaker.

She was of the Lutheran Faith and with her twin sister Pat attended Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Williamsport, MD.

Peggy was involved with extracurricular activities at Hedgesville High School while her daughter attended school there.

Peggy loved cooking, reading, and doing crossword puzzles.

She is survived by her husband Samuel James “Sam” Mussolino whom she married on January 4, 1969; daughter Samantha L. Mussolino-Taylor and her husband Mark of Martinsburg, WV; her twin sister Patricia A. Plotner of Williamsport, MD; sister Lisa A. Butts of Halfway, MD; brother Jeff Long of Hagerstown, MD; grandson Cameron D. Taylor; several nieces and nephews; her dog “Sallie”.

She was predeceased by two brothers Eddie Long and Glen “Smokey” Long.

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 9:00 am on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 11:00 am with Kevin Smoot officiating. Entombment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.
