Pinesburg, MD – Richard Delmar Jackson, 84, of Pinesburg, MD passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Williamsport Nursing Home Williamsport, MD.

 

He was born on November 7, 1934 in Pinesburg, MD to the late Albert Theodore and Edna Jane Hose Jackson.

 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Marie Jackson in 1990.

 

He was employed by Bragunier Masonry until his retirement.

 

Richard was a member of Conococheague Tribe #84 IORM Williamsport, MD.

 

He loved to hunt deer and mushrooms.

 

He is survived by his daughter Debra Rickard and her husband Edward of Sharpsburg, MD; daughter Linda Mowen and her husband Steve of Williamsport, MD; daughter Beverly Griffith of Martinsburg, WV; son Rockie Jackson and his wife Karen of Boonsboro, MD; son Richard Jackson and his wife Heidi of Williamsport, MD; son David Jackson and his wife Amanda of Falling Waters, WV; sister Shirley McCauley of Pinesburg, MD; brother Merle Jackson of Pinesburg, MD; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; special friend Mae Palmer of Downsville, MD.

 

He was predeceased by five sisters Mary McCauley, Carrie Linderman, Amanda Jackson, Dortha Smallwood, and Betty Ebersole; two brothers Walter Jackson and Lewis Jackson; son in law Jeffrey Griffith.

 

The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm.  The funeral home will be open after 1:00 pm on Sunday for the convenience of family and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ernest E. Witmer officiating.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park Williamsport, MD.
