New York City, NY – Robert Scott Carr, 55, of New York City, NY and formerly of Williamsport, MD passed away on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at his home in New York.
He was born on June 25, 1965 in Hagerstown, MD to Robert Edward and Phyllis June (Haines) Carr of Williamsport, MD.
Robert was a 1983 graduate of Highland View Academy and was the Valedictorian. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland in Baltimore, MD and received his Master’s Degree in Music at Towson University in Towson, MD.
He moved to New York over 30 years ago to pursue his career in Music and Acting.
Besides his parents he is survived by a sister Cherri A. Wuerstlin and her husband Wayne of Hagerstown, MD; brother David E. Carr of Williamsport, MD; sister-in-law Janette C. Carr of Williamsport, MD; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 3:00 pm with Pastor Roger Larsen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 pm at the funeral home on Monday.
Burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
