Robert Issac Miller

Hagerstown, MD - Robert Issac Miller, 86, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at Doey's House in Hagerstown, MD.

He was born on September 17, 1932 in Pinesburg, MD to the late Edward Ross Sr. and Helen Irene Kretzer Miller.

He was a 1950 graduate of Williamsport High School Williamsport, MD.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.

Robert retired from Greyhound Bus of Hagerstown, MD.  He was previously employed by various trucking companies.

He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church Williamsport, MD.

He was also a member of Dixon Troxell Post #211 American Legion Funkstown, MD; life member of Amvets Post #10 Hagerstown, MD; W.D. Byron Post #1936 VFW Hagerstown, MD; and Moose Lodge Frederick, MD.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Mae Miller whom he married February 17, 1982; daughter Rimini Kephart and her husband Eric of Clear Spring, MD; son Kirk Miller and his wife Shannon of Williamsport, MD; sister Patricia Shadrach of Williamsport, MD; sister Barbara Nally of Hagerstown, MD; sister Bernadine Diehl of Williamsport, MD; brother Harold Miller of Hagerstown, MD; granddaughter Matayia Miller.

He was predeceased by three sisters Helen Clipp, Doris Gordon, and Linda Koontz; two brothers Edward Miller, Jr., and Charles Miller.

Graveside services will be held at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park Hagerstown, MD on Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Kim Nunberg officiating. Military honors will be provided.
