Sandra Louise "Sandy" Cunningham

Hagerstown, MD – Sandra Louise “Sandy” Cunningham, 77, of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Frederick Health and Rehabilitation of Frederick, MD.

She was born on October 7, 1944 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Ernest B. and Emojean N. Shingleton Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Cunningham in 2022.

Sandy was a 1962 graduate of South Hagerstown High School in Hagerstown, MD.

She was a Homemaker.

She was of the Christian Faith.

Sandy loved going to yard sales, canning, going to the beach, making Christmas cookies with her daughter Norma, and liked

 riding on the motorcycle with her husband.

She is survived by her son Robert B. Barnhart, Sr. and his fiance’ Amy of Clear Spring, MD; daughter Norma J. Pierce and her husband Michael of Martinsburg, WV; stepdaughter Zena L. Sullivan and her husband James of Shady Side, MD; sister Laura Eckard and her husband Bill of Hagerstown, MD; 8 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; 9 step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters Shelby Moore, Jeanne Edmonds, Ernestine Presgraves, and Carol Ann Morgan; brother James Foltz.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, P.A. 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 am with Pastor Leon Powell officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 am.  Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD.
