Sharon Lee Silvers

Martinsburg, WV – Sharon Lee Silvers, 79, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Hospice of the Panhandle Kearneysville, WV.

She was born on April 14, 1939 in Hagerstown, MD to the late Kenneth Leo and Charlotte Elizabeth Linebaugh Shoop.

She attended Hagerstown High School Hagerstown, MD.

Sharon was employed by Fort Ritchie in Cascade, MD retiring after 25 years.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years John E. Silvers; daughter Lisa Kennedy and her husband Allen of Hagerstown, MD; granddaughter Shauna Gregg of Darlington, SC; grandson Joe F. Kennedy of Falling Waters, WV; great grandchildren Ambrielle, Ralph, Kamrynne, and Eli; great great granddaughter Charlie Rae; sister Donna Albright of Hagerstown, MD; sister Linda Purdham of Hagerstown, MD; sister Millie Ann Williams of Hagerstown, MD; brother Charles Shoop of Waynesboro, PA; brother Michael Shoop of Hagerstown, MD; brother Stanley Shoop of Hagerstown, MD; brother David Shoop of Hagerstown, MD.

A memorial service will be held at Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 am with Pastor Gary Zook officiating.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service from 10:00 – 11:00 am.

Interment will be private.
