Shirley Marie Wyant

Clear Spring, MD – Shirley Marie Wyant, 90, of Clear Spring, MD and formerly of Sharpsburg, MD passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at her home.

She was born on August 7, 1930 in Gaithersburg, MD to the late Frederick Eugene Sr. and Adrienne Cecelia Dove Goroum.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward “Don” Wyant on January 20, 2009.

She was a Homemaker.

She was of the Methodist Faith.

Shirley loved country music and dancing.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Brenda Milligan of Clear Spring, MD; daughter Wendy Lowe of Martinsburg, WV; daughter Robin Franklin of Falling Waters, WV; daughter Vicky Schildtnecht of Frederick, MD; son David Lowe of West Chester, PA; son Ronald Lowe of Gaithersburg, MD; sister Nancy Crotts of Bracey, VA; sister Jean Carmichael of Ahoskie, NC; 13 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Charles Lowe; three grandsons Alex Lowe, Brandon Lydard,and Michael Lowe; sister Patsy Mullins and Carol Ann Pohlmann; brother Frederick E. Goroum, Jr.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
